It was a pretty special night for Off Grid Outfitters at the2026 CCIA NSW Awards of Excellence, with our people and our business recognised across four award categories.
And we’re incredibly proud to share the results.
The biggest moment of the night was seeing our Sales Manager, Darren Kenney, named Employee of the Year.
Darren has been part of OGO for more than eight years and has been there through an enormous part of our journey.
Those who know Darren know what he brings to the business goes well beyond selling caravans and campers. His product knowledge, relationships with customers and manufacturers, leadership within our team and genuine passion for the industry have made him an incredibly important part of OGO.
Seeing that contribution recognised by the industry was a very proud moment for all of us.
Congratulations DK. Very well deserved.
We were equally proud to seeStephen Naraj recognised as a finalist for Young Achiever of the Year.
Stephen joined OGO in 2024 and has quickly become an important and valued part of the team.
He brings enthusiasm, technical knowledge and a genuine desire to learn and improve, and we're excited to see where his career in this industry takes him.
Being recognised amongst the industry's emerging talent is a fantastic achievement in itself.
This one means a lot to us. Having won this category last year, in the 2025 awards, we were so pleased to have the honour of that recognition, and completely took us by surprise. So we were so happy to once again be recognised by the industry, as a Finalist in this category in 2026.
OGO has always been built around the belief that the experience we give our customers is the responsibility of the whole team.
From the first conversation in the showroom, through configuration and ordering, accounts, pre-delivery, handover, technical support, warranty and everything that happens behind the scenes, there are a lot of people involved in getting someone on the road.
Being recognised as aTeam of the Year finalist is recognition of all of them.
To finish the night withSilver in Dealer of the Year was something we're enormously proud of.
OGO started in 2017 with a pretty simple idea: build the kind of dealership we'd want to buy from ourselves.
The business has changed enormously since then, but that principle hasn't.
We want to represent great products, give people straight answers, stand behind what we sell and build relationships with customers that extend well beyond the day they pick up their caravan or camper.
We're certainly not perfect, and we're certainly not finished.
But recognition like this is a pretty good indication that we're heading in the right direction.
There's something pretty special about the industry we're fortunate enough to work in.
The products we sell become part of family holidays, weekends around a campfire, trips across the country and adventures people have sometimes spent years dreaming about.
Every person in our team gets to leave a small fingerprint on those adventures.
And collectively, we hope we're leaving a fingerprint on our industry too, through the standards we set, the way we look after people and the business we're continuing to build.
ToDarren, Stephen and the entire OGO team, congratulations.
And to our customers, manufacturers, suppliers, friends and everyone who has supported Off Grid Outfitters along the way:thank you.
We're very proud of how far we've come.
And we're nowhere near finished yet.
