Monday 1st December 2025
Unfortunately this morning, we were advised that Zone Manufacturing Pty Ltd, the manufacturer of Zone RV caravans has been placed into voluntary administration.
We wanted to reach out directly to our community of customers as we understand that this update comes as a shock. It understandably raises questions and is an unsettling situation.
Our team is here to assist, and has been making and receiving calls and messages from customers with the intent to provide as much clear information and guidance as possible.
While we are not able to speak on behalf of the administrators or Zone RV, we want to share what we can, in a calm and straightforward way.
At this stage, Zone RV is now in the legal control of the appointed administrators, Rahul Goyal, Catherine Margaret Conneely and Stephen Earel of Cor Cordis (02 8221 8433 - zone@corcordis.com.au)
Official details of the Administrator, and their appointment can be found on the ASIC website (https://publishednotices.asic.gov.au/browsesearch-notices/notice-details/Zone-Manufacturing-Pty-Ltd-608771697/6bbf80bf-26b9-492b-ab58-b8645d4e043d )
We would encourage any customer who has any payments outstanding to Zone Manufacturing Pty Ltd, to call or email the administrators to lodge your interest.
Be sure to include information such as your name, best contact number, order number (or chassis/VIN number if available), and expected completion date for your van (if known) and any documents or receipts you have.
We are working on gathering more information which we will share with you all in the coming days/weeks.
As Zone RV was a separately owned and ran business, our knowledge of why this situation with Zone RV has occurred is limited. We unfortunately have little insight, and no authority over the administration process, and we cannot provide specific advice on the status of warranties, builds, payments or future outcomes. Those matters sit entirely with the appointed administrators.
What we can do is continue offer support in the areas we directly control, including:
Our values have always centred around doing right by people. That does not change because of this news.
Situations like this can feel isolating, and the flow of information can be slow. To make things easier for everyone who owns a Zone RV purchased through us, or who who are caught up in this situation, we are creating a private community platform where customers can:
We expect to release details on how to join in the coming days.
We will continue monitoring updates from the administrators and will pass on any information that is appropriate for us to share. In the meantime, if you are unsure where to start or simply want to talk to someone to help understand the situation, our team is here.
You can contact us directly at:

To everyone affected, we are thinking of you and we are here to help in the ways we are able to. Our focus remains on providing steady support, honest communication and a place for customers to lean on during this period.
Please reach out if we can help in any way at all.
Regards,
Ryan and the Off Grid Team

(For customers who purchased a Zone RV through Off Grid Outfitters)
Zone Manufacturing Pty Ltd, the manufacturer of Zone RV caravans, has entered voluntary administration. This process is being handled by external administrators.
Your caravan (that is in your possession, or in our facility) remains your property and is unaffected by the administration. The administration relates to the company’s ability to manufacture, trade and meet its obligations, and mostly effects customers who have a build in progress, or have made payments, without taking delivery.
You may find the information here on the ACCC website useful to read more HERE
Voluntary administration is a legal process designed to give a company breathing room while administrators assess its financial position and determine possible outcomes and report these to the creditors of the business at a Creditors Meeting. Only the administrators can provide definitive updates about the company’s future.
At this stage, the status of warranties is unclear and depends on the administrators' review of the business. Off Grid Outfitters is not able to make any assurances or commitments on behalf of the manufacturer.
It is important to understand, that all Sales Contracts, deposits, instalment payments and the manufacture of the product has been directly between customers and Zone RV for all new builds.
Manufacturer-approved (and paid for) warranty repairs unfortunately cannot be guaranteed at this time, as these fall under the responsibility of the administrators. As the administrators are working to understand the overall position of the business, it is unlikely that Administrators will honour or process any existing warranty claims or shipping of parts.
Some more information on ACL and Consumer Guarantees can be found HERE
All warranty enquiries, open claims, or questions about manufacturer obligations must go directly to the appointed administrators. We will share any updates or new information as soon as they are formally published.
Yes, we can assist with recommending Authorised Service Partners (of Off Grid Outfitters) for general servicing, maintenance, shakedown support and repairs where appropriate within our workshop capability.
If you have a build in progress, the administrators are the only ones who can advise on its status, next steps, or recovery of funds. We do not have authority to access their systems or intervene in the process.
We, of coarse, are here to assist and provide updates for you. Our goal here is to be that point of strength for you to lean on and we will do everything within our power and abilities to help everyone who is effected here.
Yes, and no. We maintain internal sales and delivery records for all caravans sold through our dealership. Unfortunately, today (Monday 1st December), our access to the Zone RV CRM system which hosts all customer information was revoked and we can no longer access broader information or updates on orders in progress.
Regardless, please reach out if there is any information needed or requested by the administrator and we will do our best to assist.
You are not alone. This type of situation is understandably stressful.
A good first step is to gather your documents (contract, invoices, communication with the manufacturer), make contact with the administrators (and our team) and wait for initial guidance from the administrators.
Yes. We will share any information that is appropriate for us to pass on and that we believe helps customers navigate this period. However, we cannot comment on or speculate about the future of Zone RV.
No. As a former sales agent for Zone RV, we did not own or operate the manufacturing business and have no legal authority over its obligations, warranties or financial position.
It is important to understand, that all Sales Contracts, deposits, instalment payments and the manufacture of the product has been directly between customers and Zone RV for all new builds.
That said, if you are unsure, or if you would like more clarity on what your rights are, and the current situation, we are here to help, please reach out. We are working through this situation as quickly and as effectively as we can, and we are here to support ALL customers and to do all we can to assist anyone we can.
Absolutely. Our commitment to our customers remains the same. We will continue providing guidance, servicing support, and a place to ask questions as the situation evolves.
We are setting up a private online platform where owners can share updates, compare information and access guidance. It will also help us communicate more clearly and support customers and each other as a group.
Details on how to join will be released soon.
Will this have a detrimental affect on the value of our vans? Feeling sick as this has come as a bolt out of the blue. Would never have imagined this happening.
Thank you for your comprehensive blog and compassion, you are to
be commended as a company.
Thank you for the update. Look forward to the new chat room.
Much appreciated.
So sad to hear of such a good manufacturer in this situation and we really appreciate off grid outfitters keeping us informed. We are probably the lucky ones. We have already received our caravan but we do have some warranty issues pending so please if you could keep us informed so we can all move forward And only hope as a business owner myself that zone RV and administrators are able to trade out of this situation, thank you again off grid outfits
Thank you, Ryan. The news is truly devastating for all of us, and your timely update means more than you know. We’re grateful that you took the time to share something on your website that we, as Zoners, can turn to with confidence. In a moment when so many of us feel isolated—each facing our own individual concerns—your communication provides much-needed clarity and connection.
Comments will be approved before showing up.

Thank you so much for your support and keeping us updated and explaining the situation in simple terms. I look forward to the new chat room where we can further support each other and share our personal situations as I can see from comments we are all at different stages of our Zone RV Journey. A special thank you to Sylvia who I’m sure has been truly inundated with phone calls and questions, however showed extreme compassion and kindness. xxx
